“INSANITY” is the highly anticipated second mini album by JOOHONEY, a member of the globally successful K-POP group MONSTA X, released under Starship Entertainment. This release marks JOOHONEY’s return to solo activities following his first mini album LIGHTS in 2023 and continues to build on his distinctive musical identity and artistic growth.

Officially titled 光 (INSANITY), the album is scheduled for release on January 5, 2026, with a pre-release single set ahead of the full launch. The title reflects a blend of powerful thematic elements and hints at the energetic and dynamic concept being introduced.

Fans around the world are eagerly anticipating this new chapter in JOOHONEY’s solo career, as he combines his unique style with refined artistic expression in INSANITY.
The physical album comes in the following versions: Tiger on the Ring Ver., Shining in Madness Ver. (MAD TO SHINE Ver.), IN RED Ver., Ver.1 and Ver. 2.

Monsta X is a six-member boy group under Starship Entertainment. They were created through the survival program NO.MERCY, and debuted on May 14, 2015, The group has been known for their aggressive style, combining elements of hip hop, EDM and pop. This aggressive style with “tracks centred around loud, clattering, electronic instrumentals, vicious rap verses and striking vocals” has been influential across the fourth generation of K-pop.
