About

Monsta X is a six-member boy group under Starship Entertainment. They were created through the survival program NO.MERCY, and debuted on May 14, 2015, The group has been known for their aggressive style, combining elements of hip hop, EDM and pop. This aggressive style with “tracks centred around loud, clattering, electronic instrumentals, vicious rap verses and striking vocals” has been influential across the fourth generation of K-pop.

Got the 2nd Journey version to go along with his previous 1st Journey version. This feels like a great celebration for Kihyun’s first mini album. The songs are all great and really pack a punch thanks to his legendary vocals. I really liked the added touch of including an official English translation of the lyrics to “Youth” throughout the photobook, as it made it all the more emotional to leaf through.

The album came in perfect shape along with a limited photocard that I absolutely adored. If you’re into a mix of pop with rock, you should definitely invest your time checking out Kihyun’s solo work!

The albums came in perfectly and I received so many extra photocards – t was amazing. Now I could fill in my photobook with more of Kihyun’s photocards. As it was preorder it arrived in almost a month since ordering but the wait was totally worth it.
